Bio

MA (English), MA (Indology) MA (Sanskrit Pursuing), B. Ed., M.Phil. (English), Ph.D. (English), Certification in Digital Humanities (IIT Jodhpur)

Dr. Preeti T. Joshi holds an MA in English, an MA in Indology, and is currently pursuing an MA in Sanskrit. She also holds a B.Ed., an M.Phil. in English, and a Ph.D. in English. She secured second rank in her university for the MA Indology program.

She specializes in English Language and Communication, as well as Indology. Her academic expertise extends to Digital Humanities, supported by her certification from IIT Jodhpur. She was awarded the FUR Fellowship for Dalai Lama Studies in 2022 and is a Lifetime Member of the Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She has received recognition from the University of Northern Colorado, USA; the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka; and the University of London Union, UK.

With over 17 years of academic and administrative experience, Dr. Joshi has held leadership roles such as Associate Dean (External Relations), IQAC Head, and Research Head. She has contributed to interdisciplinary fields, including Media Studies, Education, and Peace Studies.

As a dedicated researcher and author, she has published a reference book, two book chapters, over 15 research papers, and more than 20 articles in leading newspapers such as The Times of India, The Hindu, Maharashtra Times, and Sakal. She is a recognized research guide and has chaired numerous national and international conferences.

She holds two patents; one national and one international as well as a copyright in her name.
